Alicia M.
6 years of service

Coming from a large family and faith congregation, Alicia found socially distancing from friends and family challenging but an absolute must. Alicia experienced the pandemic not only as a benefits administrator, but as a mother, caretaker, and church-goer.

From having to limit her son’s social activities to only being able to Facetime her uncle who she cares for in a nursing home, she longed to spend time with loved ones without fear of getting sick. That is ultimately why she chose to get vaccinated.

Alicia encourages everyone to consider how their choice to vaccinate may affect others around them; “Although I may not get sick, other people might.” She says, “I want to hug my friends without fear of jeopardizing someone else’s health.”

My shot to live abundantly.
